We announce the passing of MARIA KLING with great sadness. Our family is heartbroken. MARIA KLING was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and a shining light to all who knew her. She has touched the lives of so many and we in turn will give back to her family in their time of need. We are raising money to cover the funeral and memorial costs for Jessica’s family as this passing was completely unexpected. The remainder will be donated to the future care and education of her son Josiah.
MARIA KLING, 35, of Worcester, was taken from us too early on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at UMass Hospital after being injured in a car crash.
Jessica was born on September 26, 1986 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She graduated from North High School in 2004. Jessica is pursuing a career as a radiologist at Quinsigamond Community College and will graduate in May 2022. She has worked as a hairstylist. for 15 years at Hair Cuttery, most recently known as Unity Salon.
Jessica is a blessing to her whole family, especially her son. She is a wonderful mother who loves to do anything and everything with him. Jessica is sometimes very creative, active, loves to read, dance and spend time with her large Italian family. Jessica leaves behind her beloved son, Josiah Diaz, and his father Luis Diaz; Her mother is Mary Jane Simone, brother Max Simone and wife Paula Alves, her maternal grandparents are Bartolomeo and Winifred Simone; three aunts, Gina Tangney and her husband Brian, Linda Lawton and her husband Tommy, and Christina Chionchio; Her uncle, Tommie Simone and his wife Kim; two nieces and a nephew Victoria, Alexie and Liam. Her beloved dog “Roman”; some close relatives, friends and family members. Jessica was booked by her father Kevin Harkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to join a call period on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Mercadante Funderal House and Chapel, 370 Plantation street Worcester, Massachusetts. Her funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Providence – St. Bernard, 228 Lincoln St. Worcester. The burial will follow at St.
